JesterMedia Server - public installer privacy

The installer contains application code, product artwork, public help, and third-party runtime components. It does not contain a sample media database, profiles from the developer's home, credentials, saved device IDs, API tokens, Apple exports, photos, playlists, watch history, or personal configuration files.

A new installation creates its own empty library and generic Household profile. Remote streaming, LAN access, TV deletion, and Sound Check start disabled. The fixed-IP requirement applies before a new installation can enable LAN hosting. The application does not alter Windows IP settings or create router forwarding rules.

Official update checks contact thejestermediaserver.com over HTTPS and download publisher-signed release information. No library inventory, filenames, local paths, profiles, credentials, or history are sent with that request. Network providers can observe connection metadata; the update host sees the requesting public IP and normal HTTP headers. This document does not promise that third-party network logs never exist.

Online artwork requires the user's own TMDB credential and sends media title searches to TMDB. Ordinary local browsing and playback do not require a developer account. No installer analytics or registration step has been added.

The Jester name, logo, and public product domains intentionally remain as branding and official distribution locations.

Remote gateway setup is empty/off on a new installation. Games scan only owner-selected ROM folders; photos require an owner-selected photo folder. No household mount paths are supplied. Original procedural photo-music tracks and decorative seasonal art are app assets. Optional EmulatorJS and Libretro features use their public services.
