JesterMedia gets a change of season.
Windows server 0.3.35 is ready to download, with separate seasonal TV clients for Roku and Samsung. Your library, with a little more personality.
The next public JesterMedia Server release is here: Windows version 0.3.35. It includes the newer playback and TV compatibility work, with a clean first-run setup so you can choose your own library, profiles and settings.
The TV clients have been getting some seasonal character too. Classic, Fall, Spooky and Christmas themes are available, and each TV saves its own choice. The fall artwork brings pumpkins, leaves and pies to the menu; the other themes are there whenever you feel like switching things up.
Modern Samsung TVs get optional seasonal decorations and title transitions. The older Samsung and Roku editions use lighter, static artwork. There is also an optional, brief and silent Freddy surprise in eligible Spooky movie-detail menus, with an Off switch in Settings. It stays out of video playback.
The downloads are separate: the Windows server installer is version 0.3.35, the Roku developer-sideload ZIP is 0.1.3, modern Samsung source is 0.3.24, and older Tizen 3 Samsung source is 0.2.10. Samsung users need to build and sign with their own TV certificate; these are source packages, not ready-to-install WGT files or app-store releases. The existing Linux download remains an earlier preview.
The public files start without my household configuration, accounts, media library, saved TV details, credentials or menu music. Automated checks and archive inspections passed. These exact public packages still need clean-PC and physical-TV checks, so read the setup instructions and current limitations on the JesterMedia project page before installing.
