Bulbasaur is taking root on the NES.
A fresh look at the Bulbasaur NES lid concept, with sweeping green vines and a woven-vine landing. Digital design preview; printing and physical fit checks are still ahead.
Another little bit of childhood is taking shape in the workshop. This Bulbasaur NES lid concept puts the character at the back, facing the cartridge entrance, with sweeping vines reaching down toward the lid and two tips rising near the front.
The latest revision brings rounded, woven vines across the top landing. The front cartridge opening stays open, giving the design a clear focal point while we work through the practical details.
This is a work-in-progress digital design preview, not a photograph of a finished print. The character mesh, vine connections and mounting details still need work. Printing, cartridge movement and physical fit checks are still ahead, and the colors shown are concept colors.
This unofficial fan-made concept is a separate workshop project and is not included with the NES connector board and printed tray preorder kit.
