NES board v0.2: corrected copper, adjustable mounts.
Board and tray revisions are under review after the earlier short was found. The next step is assembling and testing the updated parts in a real NES.
The NES connector project has a revised board and a gentler tray design. The earlier board had an unwanted short, so the layout was corrected before ordering the next prototype. Design-file checks passed, but assembled hardware still needs electrical and play testing.
The tray now carries its 1.5 mm grade along the cartridge path. The aim is smoother seating and better playability. A fresh print and hands-on fit check are still needed.
The artwork shown here is an illustrative preview. Circuit routing, dimensions, and manufacturing drawings are kept private. Follow the project page for physical test results as the build develops.
